4B Whirligig® Sensor Mount – 4 Pulse Target

Sensor Sold Separately. The WG1-4B-4 is the Whirligig sensor mount / target / guard assembly. Electronic sensors such as the 4B M800 Elite, 4B M300 Slipswitch, proximity sensors, and speed sensors are not included.

The 4B Whirligig® Sensor Mount WG1-4B-4 is a fully guarded rotating target designed for easy installation of motion and speed sensors on rotating shafts.

It provides a universal shaft-mounted solution for standard cylindrical and DIN-style sensors and is designed for applications such as bucket elevators, belt conveyors, and other rotating grain handling equipment.

The WG1-4B-4 is the standard 4-pulse target model.

Mounting

The Whirligig assembly can be bolted directly to the machine shaft through a 1/2" UNC tapped hole or connected magnetically using the 4B Mag-Con™ adapter.

Manufacturer application examples show the Whirligig used with a 4B M800 Elite Speed Switch on a bucket elevator and a 4B M300 Slipswitch on a belt conveyor.
