The 4B Touchswitch™ TS2V4C is an electronic belt and pulley misalignment sensor designed to detect lateral movement of a conveyor belt or pulley.

When a misaligned belt or pulley contacts the sensor face, the built-in solid-state electronic circuitry detects the lateral force and activates a voltage-free relay contact. The relay output can be used to provide an immediate misalignment alarm and machine shutdown signal.

The TS2V4C is designed for 24 VDC supply voltage. This product listing is for one TS2V4C sensor.

Applications

Primary applications include belt bucket elevators, belt conveyors, conveyor systems requiring belt misalignment monitoring, pulley misalignment monitoring, and grain handling equipment.

The sensor is intended for applications where belt or pulley lateral movement needs to trigger an alarm or shutdown signal.

Installation

Touchswitch sensors are normally installed in pairs on opposite sides of the machine. A pair of sensors is typically installed at each pulley, with additional pairs used where required.
